Watch the short video below for a quick walkthrough on how to customize verification.

Before you start customizing the verification settings, here is the guide to open the entrance popup Settings page
Once you open the settings page, on the left settings. You will see the verification settings. Here, in this section, you can set the minimum age for verification preferences :
  1. No Input
  2. Via Birthdate
  3. Checkbox

Select the option that best fits your store’s age-verification requirements.

Set the minimum age in the "age" input field to dynamically display the age number using liquid variable {{minimum_age}} in the subheading, as well as for birthday Verification and checkbox text.

1. No Input

“No Input” means no age verification is required. Visitors can simply click the Agree or Disagree button without selecting date of birth or confirming their age.

2. Via Birthdate

Select the “Via Birthday” radio button to restrict users by selecting the birthday in either of two formats: European format (DD/MM/YYYY) or US format (MM/DD/YYYY) to verify the age before clicking on "agree" button.

Customize the Birthday selector dropdown look by adjusting the Border radius, width & color. You can also change the text color, background color and icon color of the bday selector accordingly.

3. Checkbox

Select the "Checkbox" radio button to require visitors to check the checkbox before clicking the Agree button.

In the popup terms and conditions section: Use the text editor to customize the message shown beside the confirmation checkbox.
Use {{minimum_age}} liquid variable dynamically displays the age limit you set in the app.
Example: If the age limit is 18, "{{minimum_age}}" will show as 18.

Once you’ve completed all the required changes, click the Save button at the top center or the top right of the screen to save them.
