How to Set Up Shopify Markets for Age Verification

Note: The popup will be displayed based on the selected market. The default market popup will be shown to visitors from all countries. To show a different popup for a specific country, you need to create a separate market in both Shopify Markets and the AVP Age Verification Market settings.

🌍 Let's Set Up a Market on Your Shopify Store
Step 1: From your Shopify Admin, on left-side menu click on "Markets" options.
    Step 2: In the Markets page, click on  "Create market" button on the right-hand side.
    Step 3: Click on "+ Add condition" to add the country.
    Step 4: In the pop-up, search for the country you want to create the market for and click "Done" button on the bottom right side of the popup.
      Step 5: You can customize the market by configuring the inherited settings listed such as Currency, Taxes and duties and more.


      Once you’ve customized the settings according to your store’s requirements:
      1. Review all changes carefully.
      2. Click Save at the top of the page.
      Once you save the settings, you will see that the market has been created successfully and is now active.

      🛠️ Set Up the Market in the App
      Step 1: Create a Market

      Open the Age Verification Popup App Dashboard.

      1. Click Settings from the left menu.
      2. Select Create Setting.
      Step 2: Select Market Country and Language 


      A configuration popup will appear.
      1. Choose the  same country.
      2. Select the Language.
      Then click Create Setting.
      Step 3: Ready to Customize the App
      Once the market region is created, click on edit button for the market you want to customize.

      After clicking Edit, a popup will appear with the available customization options:

        Select the section you want to customize for that Specific Market(Country & Language) only.


          🎉 You’re ready to go!
          Your app is now successfully configured for this market region.
